The King Country has long been an identified as an area of opportunity for the Bayleys team, and now is the right time to strike, offering a premium real estate experience to the growing number of potential clients looking to move or upgrade in this attractive region.  

 

Bayleys have ‘done the numbers’ and this role looks like 75% rural and lifestyle and 25% residential opportunity.  So if you want the security of a diverse portfolio then keep reading.  

 

If you already live in the King Country (Rohe Potae o Maniapoto) you’ll know that the region covers coverted coastal land, small and large community focused towns, hill country (read sheep, beef and forestry) and dairy country to the north along with a smattering in hidden valleys across the region.  In short, there’s lots of places for Bayleys clients to call home, earn a decent income and live the life they’ve always wanted to.   And the region’s relative proximity to Hamilton  makes it close enough for a big centre fix when required.

 

 

Who will be successful?

 

We reckon that for this to work for both you and Bayleys you’ll either:

  • already be an experienced real estate professional looking to leap into a new region and set it on fire; 
  • or you’ll be a King Country local, well networked and looking for a new challenge that could make you one of the biggest earners in the county.

 

Training that sets you up for success will be provided and in this full commission role your realistic earnings, once you’re fully qualified and established, are around the $200k mark.  

 

But you’ve got to want it.  Real estate professionals work to their clients’ timeframes and the best intuitively know what will represent value to each client at an individual level.

 

To be successful in rural sales you’ll also need to be good with numbers, understand land utilisation and the drivers behind land-based businesses.  You’ll also be able to refer your clients to the specialists they will need to do due diligence well on the opportunities you put in front of them.
